Our family of four was visiting Berlin for the first time over the Christmas holiday. We were so fortunate to have Ulrich Kilian as our personal tour guide. One entire day was spent on an extensive walking tour of Berlin. We saw far more than we would have been able to on our own, and it was wonderful not to have to worry about way-finding. Additionally, the commentary by Herr Kilian was extensively informative, while at the same time entertaining. All of our questions were answered. Integrating his personal story of growing up in West Berlin prior to unification into the narrative provided unique insight. Another day we had a limo tour to Potsdam also with Herr Kilian. This was a wonderful way to efficiently see all of the high points in Potsdam and also along the way.
